I got the music in me!
We all have our specific tastes in music and nowadays you see most people walking around with headphones on. Whether it’s on the bus, in the gym, listening to music before a sports game, walking to work etc; people seem to have some sort of mp3 player, shuffle or iphone.
I myself just recently received the iphone 4 which I must say is fantastic! No antenna issues for me! I’m still getting used to it but there is 32 gb of memory that I can use for my needs.
Before this, I used a basic mp3 player with 1gb of memory which was more then enough. I did find that it can be tiresome to listen to certain music so I found myself looking for new music.
Everyone is different as opposed to what taste they have in music. Some like myself tends to choose music based on my moods. When I’m relaxing or even writing on my blog, I will typically listen to Classical. My roommate calls me “cultured!” Ha.
Typically for my workouts I will listen to anything that gets me going. I’m a huge fan of trance, house, techno music, anything to get me going! Sometimes it’s hard rock, alternative, or punk. Again, it depends on the mood!
I find that I’m very open to different types of music. I have a high level of respect for musicians and the talent they have! When you think of how they put the lyrics together with musical notes, it’s quite amazing! My best friends older brother used to play gigs in a band years ago and it was pretty cool to see.
I’m also a huge fan of going to concerts whenever there is a good band in town. My latest concert was The Killers last year. They were awesome! I’m not sure how many people are into them but it was a great concert with lots of catchy tunes.
One of my favorite workout songs by them is ‘Shadowplay.’ Check it out if you haven’t heard it before. I guess it’s a cover from Joy Division?
I understand not everyone is going to like what I’m into but I encourage you to upload music from your library that ‘gets you going.” Something that gives you energy so when you are working out it’s a productive one!
Here is a list of 10 songs that get me going for my workouts. Maybe we have similar taste? Help me out though. What are your favorite songs? I like to switch things up once in a while so your suggestions are greatly appreciated!
